Perc H700 RAID Controller. DVD Optical Drive. Two Power Supplies for additional stability / reliability. Rather surprised to see that the H700 RAID Controller was capable of RAID 0, RAID 1. By way of a test, I created two partitions on the system, as follows. Partition 1 – a RAID 1 mirrored partition using the two 146GB disks that I labelled as’Boot Mirror’ and. Partition 2 – a RAID 0 striped partition using all six of the 300GB disks, which gave me a DATA partition of 1673.25GB (or 1.6TB). Both partitions were then initialised too, to make sure any previous data was erased and that all the disks are working correctly. This configuration can obviously be changed to suit your own requirements, or, if you message me I can set up partition sizes and RAID levels for you prior to despatch.
